Let's Go Blues!

Hockey fever has reached a new height in our home. The Blues have had an amazing season this year, culminating in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. (Let's go Blues!)

I got to take my girl to her first hockey game this year, so it's been fun becoming bigger and bigger fans of this sport. It's my favorite by far, so it is extra cool that she is loving it too.

Loving it too much perhaps...! She surprised me with season tickets for my big (three-zero) birthday that is coming later this year. Along with those season tickets came tickets to all of the playoff games - hopefully to the finals! It's an awesome birthday gift and next year we'll get to enjoy it all year long.

So anyway, we went to Playoff Game 1 on Thursday and it was so much fun! The big rally outside started at 3 and we were there for some great festivities. The energy in the building prior to the puck drop was intense, but it got crazy when play started. It was a seriously awesome game. Let's go Blues!

Colorful Missouri Botanical Gardens

Spring has come fully alive at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Contrasted from our visit back in December, this park looks like an entirely different place. Color is everywhere.

Spring Is Here

We visited the Missouri Botanical Gardens back in December. I saw this tree that I thought was really cool.

We went back yesterday and things have taken a more spring-like appearance. Including this cool tree. What a difference three months makes. :)
