I was handed my first camera somewhere around the age of one-ish. My aunt made sure to support this growing camera toting habit throughout my entire childhood. She gifted me her hand-me-down 35mm SLR when I was a teenager. That was the start of this hobby (or obsession) between me and old cameras.
I enjoy shooting with a variety of cameras - medium format, 35mm, 110, instant, digital, etc. But these are the things you can assume from my blog.
A little more about me, outside of photography...
- I love reading books of many kinds.
- I love outer space and space shuttles, especially Endeavour.
- I'm a big St. Louis Blues hockey fan. Let's go Blues!
- I love coffee. A lot.
- The beach is where my heart is... I love the sand, the water, the palm trees, but it is also where my wife proposed and where we said "I do" to each other.
- I lived in Saint Louis for 31 years. Now, we call California home. Ahh, the beach.
- We love to explore, whether that means getting on a plane or going a few miles from home.
- My wife is a photograph taking, coffee loving, book nerd, too. Perfect.
