Hiking Laguna Canyon

We went on our first California hike at a Laguna Canyon trail. Climbing big hills and seeing lots of cacti were a fun change from the hikes we were used to in St. Louis. There are lots of trails to explore here, so I imagine this is the first of many adventures. :)

Sunset at Huntington Beach

We spent an evening hanging around in Huntington Beach and waiting for the sun to set!

I slowed things down in my camera so I could get some soft water and show the action of the waves in a few photos.

Kim got in on the photo fun, too. :)

Shaw's Cove

Shaw's Cove in Laguna Beach at low tide has lots of little tide pools to explore. This also happens to be the place where we got married, so it was fun going back to visit again. 

My mission was to find a starfish... and look at this pretty guy!
