Instant Laumeier

Right before we moved from St. Louis, we went to our favorite park and did a quick burn up of some film so we would have a fresh stash of photos when we were far away. My Polaroid land camera and our Polaroid 600 came along. A pack of Fuji 3000b peel apart and a pack of Impossible 600 gave us some instant memories of this wonderful park. Months later, I finally got them scanned.

Black & White photos are Fujifilm 3000b film. Color photos are Impossible 600 film.

Laumeier Three Lens

This is a pretty special group of photos to me. I have a little plastic three lens camera (that looks like a robot). We went for quick "goodbye" walk at Laumeier on a chilly, winter day right before we moved out of town. I loaded up a cheap roll of film, and decided to burn through the whole roll on this walk. I show up in a couple of the photos that Kim snuck into the roll. Eight months later, that cheap roll of film got developed and I honestly had no idea what was even on it. A fun surprise to me, these are quite possibly my favorite set of Laumeier photos ever.

Laumeier On Mamiya

Talk about a flashback... these photos were taken way back in February. One of our last walks around my favorite place, before moving away. Laumeier blog posts used to happen with the frequency of beach posts now. Maybe I have two favorite places now. Still, these photos made me so very happy. :)

There was a new little sculpture set up on our last visit. It is the 250th birthday of St. Louis, so the city has put birthday cakes all over the place. Here is one of the multitude of cakes around town. Happy birthday STL!
