Thunder Snow!

St. Louis had some thunder snow on January 5th, 2014. What a way to start the year. It snowed for hours, with pretty heavy winds at times, bone chilling cold, and even a couple of thunder booms. I love this weather. :)

Norm the Gnome wasn't as amused by it all. Brr.

We let Zoe check out the snow...

It stuck to her nose...

And she took a total of three steps in the white stuff, before leaping back inside.

One of the most intriguing parts of a very windy snowstorm is how the snow will drift in the most unique of ways.

Norm, still not amused. :)

There were snowy peaks in between all of the cars.

My fun wife agreed to get bundled up to go romp around in it with me. :) And when I say bundled, I mean, like six layers of clothing. The wind chill was around -30'. Brrr!

And then she decided to leap!

Love. :)

All of the cars salute the thunder snow. Not that little red one though. :)

A little corner, with a few feet of snow.
