More Flowers...

I was cleaning out my camera bag recently and discovered that I had taken a few photos with my digital camera. These are from way back in April, just when the gorgeous tulips all starting blooming. And here lies proof that I do shoot digital every now and then. :)

Mr. Yashi's First Roll

Mr. Yashi, my new Yashica, finally arrived on Saturday. I missed the delivery on Friday and was so anxious for his arrival on Saturday that I had trouble sleeping. Ridiculous, I know, but I have been shopping for this camera for almost a year. My aunt discovered hers in a box recently, after moving, and let me play around with it. That's all it took, I knew I had to have one. And what do you know, I found one - in beautiful condition and well within my budget limit. 

I loaded him up with some HP5 to test him out and went for a walk with my aunt. Here are the test images. I'm pretty pleased and have a feeling he'll be with me for a long while. :)

Tulips!

I was so excited when the tulips started blooming everywhere this year. Some were popping up even when we had snow on the ground, which was kind of cool. But these are the real tulips, from the botanical garden. :)
