Little Corona Del Mar - August 9, 2014

We hopped a little further down the coast for this trip to the beach. Literally, just around a big rock. We found an abundance of pretty rocks and lively tide pools to explore. Big rocks for climbing and cliffs for creeping around on. It also has a nice view of lots of sail boats and some big birds.

My wife saw this crack in the rocks that water was just bursting through. The next logical step is to go sit right in front of it. Of course, the water that was bursting through then calmed down, but there was still enough of a chilly splash to get a lovely expression on her face! :)

These birds, which I affectionately refer to as dinosaur birds, are huge. And when it is dinner time, they swoop and catch fish right out of the water. It's fun to watch, for sure. Sometimes they just perch on a rock and chill out, too.

A fossil... or a stamp... whatever... a little branch in the concrete. I liked it.
